Eye Candy to the bone....

The interview w/Billy is great, the pix capture the air of the crowd and the essence of their era...but i wasn't satisfied; it captured the Factory kids but not the factory itself. And the info therein was relatively limited. i feel this book is meant for appreciation and sheer sight-enjoyment, something to be left as an exclamation rather than an explanation.

a surprisingly refreshing view of the warhol sixties. shots of lou reed and the velvet underground very initmate. name was really decades ahead of current popular art photographers with his brilliant surrealistic color and funky format!
