Mary Elizabeth is back in Trinity Harbor and asleep in his bed when Tucker arrives home after a long shift. He removes himself from the case, and then assigns his trusted deputy and brother in law, Walker Ames to investigate the case. Walker, a former DC detective relishes the opportunity, if only Tucker would truly bud out of the investigation. This is a cute story about two people reluctant about taking a second chance, despite the manipulations of outside forces to keep them apart. When they finally give in, you know that they were meant to be together all along. This is the final Trinity Harbor book following "About that Man" and "Ask Anyone" - oops - I read them out of order!

The only person she can trust is Tucker Spencer, the man she left so many years before.Now, with a murder investigation going on, Liz and Tucker are gingerly finding their way together toward what they lost so many years ago. The reader won't be dissapointment in Woods' final installment in the Trinity Harbor trilogy. We will also learn the fate of King and Frances as well as get caught up with news of Daisy and Walker as well as Bobby and Jenna.

Sherryl Woods holds the reader suspended in deadlock----but it is well worth the wait. Family members are victims of circumstances involving twists and turns in the political and social life connecting the village of Trinity Harbor with the state capital of Virginia. I recommend reading About that Man and Ask Anyone, the 1st two in the series, before reading this one....a perfect ending to the trilogy about the Spencer clan.

Sherryl Woods' stories are alway very entertaining. This book does not disappoint. It contains all the ingredients of a good book, romance, humor, and mystery. I highly recommend it.
