Am I pig Enough for you yet? The more I gorge, The more gorgeous I'll get. We have all gazed at sheep and cows in fields by the side of the road. And we have seen them gazing back. What are they... This description may be from another edition of this product.
We bought this book for our 8 and 10 year old, who LOVE the "I'm a Puppy, Hear Me Yap." However, we quickly learned that this book has some content that is not for children. My 10 year old was confused by all the "bad" words. She wondered why it used the word "jackass" and why it talked about animals having sex. A great book, but beware of the content for younger kids.
THE BEST TITLE---AND MORE

Not only does this slender volume have the best title of the year, it also can boast wonderful photographs by Valerie Shaff and charming verses to match the photos by Roy Blount, jr. Here are dozens of farmyard animals: chickens, cows, horses, mice, etc. and to complement these first class black and white photographs, short, smart quotes from the animals, themselves. In other words, we are let into the animals' thoughts via Blount. One of my favorites is a calf with markings very much like a calico cat telling us, "My politics are simple: I feel/Strongly about one issue: veal..." The lamb, on the other hand, looking exactly as if he just escaped from F.A.O. Schwartz lets us know, "You will never know fully,/What it means to be woolly."Both children and adults will find enjoyment in this lovely book.
