New evidence from vintage photos of the shipwrecked Norwich City in three different years shows Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Electra 10E sitting on the reef and transiting to the south and east along the reef at Nikumaroro, formally Gardner Island. This proves Earhart and Noonan did land on the atoll on July 2, 1937. The balance of the book ties documents from the National Archives, the presence of the Japanese Navy survey ship Koshu which participated in the search for Earhart, and the many reports of Earhart being a prisoner of the Japanese, into one plausible scenario as to Amelia Earhart's and Fred Noonan's fates on and after July 2, 1937.
