Amelia Queen of the Bees

Amelia Taylor is a beautiful and sweet high school junior who has just moved to the town of River Valley Ohio with her dad from North Carolina. Her dad Dr. Scott Taylor is the new coroner for the town. The wealthy doctors and hospital board members recommend that Dr. Taylor send his daughter to St. Leo, the local Catholic School and avoid the towns public school River Valley High School. Olivia is a cheerleader and at once becomes the focus of arrogant St. Leo star quarterback Mitch Appleman. Mitch along with his football buddies and cheerleaders invite Amelia to attend the county fair demolition derby. While there Amelia meets Brayden Roberts a good-looking boy with a bad reputation from the wrong side of town. Amelia feels attracted to Brayden but must find out whether his bad boy-player reputation is true or not. Brayden's friends Beau, Booker, and Benito (collectively known as the killer B's) don't care for Amelia at first, and to make matters worse she finds out that her classmates at Bishop Leo despise the killer B's and everyone else from River Valley High School. Their budding relationship faces long odds. Amelia and Brayden face other more sinister forces. A genetically modified Asian Hornet created by a crazy and eccentric scientist who lives near Brayden escapes and stings Brayden, Olivia and the rest of the killer B's and they become something not quite human. Something much worse stings local bad guy reporter named Digger and he becomes a deadly Apex predator that they must stop before he kills everyone in River Valley.
