A wonderful pictorial of all that is good in our country

I am a United States Naval Officer who commanded one of our navy's Guided Missile Frigates in '93-'95. Before heading overseas on deployment to the Middle East I needed to purchase some personal gifts for distinguished visitors who would visit my ship. I found this book and bought five copies for presentation purposes. I provided two to distinguished visitors during my ship's historic visit to Capetown, South Africa in October 1994 (the first visit by a ship since Aparthied had been established and then rescinded 37 years later). I also had the opportunity to sit in my cabin with young children from other countries we had helped rescue when the Cruise Liner ACHILLE LAURO caught fire of the coast of Somalia in November 1994. I am now serving overseas and want to do the same thing for my host nation guests as well. A great book with beautiful pictures, reminding us all of how fortunate we are to benefit from the bounty our nation holds for all. CAPT R. D. REILLY, Jr. USN
