A Sober, Truthful Warning

As an American there is so much to be thankful for. After reading America: Repent or Perish, it hit home that being grateful is not just an option. It is absolutely necessary for our survival.It had been quite some time that I had read the George Washington Vision of America, wherein he saw the rise and coming judgment of America--before we were even established as a nation! It was a tremendous blessing to have this vision included in the book.The book some aptly points out how truly vulnerable the United States of America is and how utterly dependent we are upon our Creator. The book brought me to personal repentance and led me to pray for our nation to repent, for if we do not thank God for our blessings and repent of our arrogance and selfishness, God will need to get our attention in a dramatic way. I am not looking forward to this potentially devastating and painful judgment. I would rather see Americans read this book and repent and pray for mercy for our nation. Our survival depends on it.
