I was planning to read this between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but took an early peek and couldn't stop reading it. What a charming story about preparation, and things that really matter - people, and the necessities. Makes one realize all the clutter we've added to the holiday doesn't make it better, just more stressful.

This is my favorite book about Christmas. Ms. Taylor makes you feel like you are part of her Irish family, and makes Christmas in Ireland seem like a very special place.
