A sweet, quick read

Although Tim, the main character, first comes off as desperate and annoying, his persistence finally wins over both Amelie and the reader. The characters and plot are enjoyable, and surprisingly complex. The unique format and graphics definitely add to the appeal of this book, which I would recommend to any reluctant to read teenager. This is an interesting book, in that the illustrations and other graphics tell a wonderful little side story.
