And The Wall Came Crumbling Down: My Journey to True Healing

Mind, Body, Spirit - I have studied these three words for years to understand how each is connected and how each is critical to the health and well-being of the human body. In late October 2008, I received a life threatening diagnosis, Stage 4 Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which forced me to put all those years of learning, understanding and sharing with others to the test. Having studied Chakra energy centers, when told I had a malignant tumor the size of a football in my solar plexus, I knew immediately what I had to do. I avoided dealing with painful issues and stuffed them far down inside me - resulting in a malignant tumor. It was going to be no easy task but, in spite of being Stage 4, I gave the health issue no power over me or my body. Never one to be a fan of the doctor's office, I waited too long to seek medical treatment. So I had to find a way to combine traditional medicine with not so traditional ways of healing. My opinion of the "medical practice" proved correct. Unless one is very vigilant, bad things can happen. My world as I knew it was about to change in a big way. I had no idea just how much. The journey through this health issue unearthed not just the cancer in my body, but also in my mind, an unforgiving heart and spirit. This little book is a journal of MY journey to true healing of my body, mind and spirit by combining traditional medicine with a lot of prayer, meditation and soul searching; incorporating immune building nutrition through diet, vitamin supplements and juicing; digging up and dealing with those issues buried so deeply; and utilizing techniques of ancient healers (and not so ancient) to smooth out my Chakra energy centers to encourage healing on all levels. What started out life threatening to my body ended up being life saving for me. Na'maste.
