A delightful tale, sure to keep the reader's interest. Wonderful descriptions paint vivid word pictures clearly in one's mind. Readers are exposed to details of the theatre, opera, and music using creative and informative methods. A pleasure to read. Hoping for future volumes by this talented author!

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful story. Although it is intended for young readers, for any parent it would make a wonderful 'tail' (pun intended) for reading out loud to your children as a bedtime story. The little hero, Angus, begins the story as a cold, lonely, hungry street mouse, who discovers he has a love for great music, and ultimately, after many adventures, becomes a great star in the Brooklyn Opera Company. I highly recommend this book!
