This is a great book in a great series of early readers. The pictures are (as in all Dorling Kindersly books) wonderful and the text is just right for kids interested in the workings of a vet office. The whole series is wonderful- they never talk down to the children, go smoothly from one level to the next and are full of interesting information laced with a little humor. Our 4 & 6 year olds love them.
