Excellent Incapsulation of Pertinent Early Childhood Issues
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 19 years ago
McGraw-Hill's annual publications may not offer cutting edge, brand-spanking unpublished research, but it offers informative (if not spectacular) overviews of conservative, controversal, and critical arguments about early childhood issues ranging from standards & the early years to what constitutes DAP literacy, to (my favorite) the public school board perspective on high-stakes testing in preschool. You would need to spend extra time and money to find such a relatively inexpensive resource chock-full of so many articles about every relevant early childhood issue discussed between professionals and practicioners. Here's a golden opportunity: if you add each annual issue to you library each year, then you will possess all of the information that you need to effectively and credibly talk about the issues within the discipline. I have been exploring this publication for inclusion in a possible "Current Research in Early Childhood Education" undergrauate course.
