Anthony Bourdain was a man of many appetites. And for many years, first as a chef and later as a world-traveling chronicler of food and culture on his CNN series Parts Unknown, he made a profession of understanding the appetites of others. The result is a home-cooking, home-entertaining cookbook like no other, with personal favorites from Bourdain's own kitchen and from his travels, translated into an effective battle plan that will help you terrify your guests with your breathtaking efficiency.
I received three copies of this cookbook for Christmas this year from three separate people. I was able to return one so I had an extra sitting around. Had a friend and one of their friends come over for dinner one night and we hit it off with the stranger over cooking. Ended up trading one of the copies for ~10g of magic mushrooms. I think Anthony can rest easier knowing his book went to use
Cool, but impractical

Gorgeous. Great as a coffee table book, or for a collector.
It is somewhat impractical to try and source a lot of the ingredients for me.
