Aquila is a very good book. This book is about two English boys who are on a field trip and when one falls in a hole under a tree, the other goes in after him. The principal, who arranged the field trip, thinks that they simply are late. When walking around in the cave, one child notices a panel of lights slowly turning on.When he goes over and presses a button the machine hums to life and starts going up. The friends try to make it go down, but they go forwards and finally it makes the trip to land. Many things then happen with the spacecraft. My favorite part is when the figure out that it can talk to them. A great read for people who like adventure. *****

This is a great book, it is about two boys who find a flying machine, and can't find out where to hide it so no one can see it. They have lots of great adventures with Aquila, it can do lots of great things like shoot lasers, turn invisible, talk, etc. This book would be good for anyone who loves to read, especially adventure books. If you like this book, then you should try reading Heaven Eyes, By David Almond.

This book is brilliant. my favorite character is Mrs. Murphy Tom's next door neighbor who everybody thinks is as mad as a hatter.I would recommend this book to people who like to laugh and go on adventures because you go on many adventures with Tom and Geoffery.

We had to finish this book in one night---there was never a good stopping place! Loads of fun about two boys, the bottom their school class, who find and master a flying machine from another galaxy. While learning about Aquila and keeping it a secret, they grow into the people they didn't even hope they could be. No wonder it's a sensation in Britain, and a BBC series.
