Dragon s Brew This fascinating book explores the Arthurian legends from a Pagan rather than the later Christian perspective. Divinity, in the original Celtic religion, was viewed as the Goddess and the Queen as her representative, held the sovereignty of the land. Arthur is first favoured by the Goddess, but ambition leads him to turn to Christianity, belittling Gwenivere s power and avoiding participation in challenges to his Kingship by younger, vital men. This, rather than the Christianised, moral failings of individuals, is what leads to the Wasteland and Arthur s eventual downfall. This book presents a fresh and challenging view of the Arthurian Legend.
