When you grow up in a shitty household with shitty parents you generally become a shitty person. I should have become a shitty person, just like my parents had been. I got involved with people I never should have gotten involved in.

I blame only myself, though. I was starvin' on the street and someone offered me the chance to make some money, damn straight I was gonna take it. It was just deliverin' shit anyway, how bad could it really be?

Well, it got bad, then it got worse. Then I was on the radar of some very bad people and at eighteen I was wanted by the damn Italian Mafia in Vegas. I couldn't think of a worse position to be in.

I thanked God everyday for bringin' me to the Demon Riders. Without them, I wouldn't have found a home, and I wouldn't have found Liz.

So, I'd come home with my tail between my legs. I mean, I didn't think of it that way, but I was sure some people would. I mean, my husband did cheat on me for our entire marriage.

I should probably be embarrassed about that, but honestly, I thought Seth should be the one who was embarrassed. He was the one who broke his marriage vows, he was the one who got a woman who wasn't his wife pregnant. What did I have to be embarrassed about?

I know, some might say I should be embarrassed because I couldn't keep my husband satisfied. That wasn't the problem, we'd had a healthy sex life when he was home. The problem was that he wasn't home all that often. He was deployed more than he was home and when he was deployed he was with her.

So yes, I ran home to my parents house, because with them I was safe, with them no one lied to me. I needed to move on . . . did that include smart talking Rocco with his boyish smirk and his handsome face?
