Armed with a doctoral degree in quantum physics from Israel's Technion Institute, Hadar Rapp was heading for a position with Princeton's Department of Quantum Science and Engineering. However, when her family was murdered in a terrorist attack, she made a career change and became a kidon, one of Israel's state-sponsored assassins. By the age of twenty-five, three dozen of Israel's enemies were dead at her hands.
