Beautifully illustrated, nice story too

I'm not a reader or buyer of children's books, but this book stopped me in my tracks on a recent visit to the library. I picked it up to skim it and ending up reading it cover to cover. The illustrations are just gorgeous and the characters' faces are expressive. Auntee Edna is one smart lady, too. It's heartwarming how she manages to connect with a niece who's not very happy about being left at her house for the day. Very nice book, in my opinion.
