Great for variety of ages and families

There are some experiments in here that would require a purchase of something but for the most part they did use household things for the experiments. My son (11) really loves it and found some pages boring but for the most part was excited by all of them at least temporarily. As long as a parent is involved I really think any kid interested would be safe to try experiments regardless of age.
