an interesting compilation 30% of the time

I bought this collection solely for the reason that Yoshihiro Tatsumi (A Drifting Life, Black Blizzard, Abandon the Old in Tokyo, etc.) had an included short story, so I wasn't expecting too much otherwise. I was mainly attempting to collect any and all Tatsumi available with this particular purchase.
Now, I would like to say it was worth it just for his short story (and for me it was), but in regards to content otherwise, it was pretty disappointing. There were a few other shorts that were charming, but the bulk seemed to be what I can only refer to as "internet manga".
Poor art and weak writing strung together by some phantom theme.
Now, if you're a fan of Tatsumi, pick one up most definitely--- but maybe wait till the price drops a bit before you do.
