This is a really awesome book. The pictures are very bright and will get your little ones attention. The last page had 2 really great features: 1. there is a texture page, in this book it's sand; 2. you can see real photographs of pictures Violet took.The best way to encourage a child to read is to have books in the home.

This series of Baby Einstein books is great!! I bought all four of the "Violet" books for my ten month old and he loves them! The pictures are very colorful and bright to keep his attention. At the end of each book, there is a textured page for your child to feel... This one has a piece of sandpaper so baby can feel the sand. He loves to touch it every time! Sometimes he is impatient and turns right to the end! :) I would highly recommend these books for your baby!
