I found this work to be a strong effort to explain hard questions in the bible. The format is a simple chronological one. Although the questions are hard the answers are easy to follow as is the layout. The writing is meant for everyday people so scholars who enjoy reading big words that confuse most of the population will be disappointed.The writing doesn't dodge the tough questions. Over half of the book is devoted to the Hebrew Bible (The Old Testament), traditionally the area of the bible where the most difficulties arise. The author frequently gives answers over one of the troubling questions of Christian faith. How can the God of Power in the Old Testament be the God of Love of the New Testament and be consistent as the same God?Over all I recommend this book.
