I liked this book so much after checking it out of the library, that I am buying a copy of it for my sister. The instructions were VERY clear and gave you a shopping list for supplies and tools needed for the projects. I am new to doing these types of projects but I like working with my hands and decorating so I thought I would give it a try. Some of the projects were not my style, like the sponging technique on the cabinet or installing a glass shelf, but the information was still useful and I am sure I can modify it for something else. Even though the book showed one person doing the project, some of the "big" jobs like installing a tile floor would probably need an extra pair of hands. I am a big fan of the Black and Decker repair books and this book reminded me a little of them because of the step-by-step instructions and the great pictures. I definitely try to use the K-I-S-S principle (Keep It Simple Sweetie) when it comes to repair kind of projects and this book does that.
