For an adult the outcome of this story is obvious but it's a children's book now isn't it. It's a nice story for the younger kids who might experience the same things as the little bear. They want to help decorate the tree but they are too small to reach anything and everything is just too fragile. Yet being small is sometimes just the right size for the important jobs! I bought this as a bargain book so it's easily well worth the $3.98 I spent, especially because it's a hardcover book.
