An interesting beauty and the beast type romance about Hunter, a disfigured billionaire who has closed himself off from the world for being ridiculed and stared at most of his life. He sees a woman he must meet who he overhears saying that looks & money don't matter. Gretchen is a ghostwriter who struggles meeting her writing deadlines and is offered a job of a lifetime to write a novel based on a trunk of historic letters found in a mansion. A few clauses in the contract stating she must live in the mansion for the month of researching has her kind of questioning the job, but she takes it anyway. Hunter has put this together to meet her and the book details the inexperience, struggles, deceit, eventual friendship to lovers plot.
