Because of Ease

Beware of your goals and desires. Many of us aspire to lives of relaxation and ease, but these lives are contrary to the life God wants us to have. God desires students. God desires progression. God desires to educate and inspire. God desires change. God desires his children to learn and grow and continue to progress through consistent effort and exertion. This does not mean you cannot enjoy a vacation, it just means don't get stuck on vacation.As you read this book you will be reminded that growth doesn't come from ease. You will be reminded that successful parenting doesn't come from having no rules or regulations. You will be reminded that providing opportunities to learn, progress and grow come from a carefully crafted parenting effort and plan. You will be reminded that growth and happiness are a result of the law of the harvest where effort is made and God rewards industry and exertion with a plentiful harvest. My intent and goal in writing Because of Ease is to remind the reader of Gods ways and means. Because of Ease will prick your conscience and inspire you to reevaluate your goals, your efforts, and your approach to life and to parenting. Because of Ease will remind you that: "...because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst" (Alma 32:42).
