"It hadn't occurred to him that he might be putting himself in serious danger. Not until now." Mark Prescott's imagination is going wild. He knows his friend John Avery Whittaker (Whit) keeps his... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This was a unique children's book in my opinion. I just love how this author describes things in his writing. Even the simple procedure of opening a garage door is told with such details that it really sounds like a space ship landing on the moon! Mark, a young boy living in the town of Odyssey, is now going to stay for a few days at Whit's house, an older man whom all the children love. When Whit says that Mark can't go into a certain door in his house, Mark's curiosity is roused. He links bits of the past together to take guesses at what must be behind that locked door. He only has a few days that he is staying at Whit's house. Will Mark solve his dangerous questions before time is up? I'd recommend this book to any Christian kid, who has a liking for adventure.

I enjoyed this book very much. The suspense built until the end. Very nice plot twists. I recommend buying this book ... if you can find a copy.
