I bought this for a friend because we were going to cook together on Thansgiving and we did not want to spend all our time together in the grocery store or the kitchen. We made 3 of the recipes which because of the few amount of ingredients required kept our cost and prep time down. Our family loved the food and even asked for the recipes. They could not believe how few ingredients went into such tasty dishes! I was so impressed that I bought one for my daughter-in-law and of course one for me. I have hundreds of cookbooks and this is definitely one of my favorites.

And the only one I use on a regular basis. I agree with all the reasons mentioned in the other reviews, and I'd also like to mention that I love it's emphasis on fresh and vegetarian ingredients.

I'm not a good cook but boy, the meal I pulled off using this book impressed my in-laws. For that alone it gets 5 stars.

I bought this on a whim, mostly for the pictures and it has been a dream to cook from. Its perfect for entertaining - the recipes Ive tried so far have been very well appreciated. And there are only 3 ingredients needed! As a college student on a budget, I love the chance to make good food with little prep and not too much money invested. I wish theyd make many more!!! Also cookbooks with pictures of every recipe is my favorite!

I LOVE this cookbook! It has pictures for EVERY recipe. I've bought about 5 of these and given them as gifts. People who don't use or like cookbooks love this one. It's great for people that don't love cooking, too!
