Warning! If you purchase this book you will soon be purchasing several others. No seriously, this is a wonderful and really under rated book. I got it at a Christmas gift exchange last year and since then I have purchased 5 of the cookbooks listed after making and loving several of the recipes. This is a great book if you want to be exposed to chefs you might otherwise miss. The recipes are excellent, you get the feel of the cookbooks listed and you get to try the recipes before deciding on purchasing the books. It is laid out really well with an introduction by the cookbook author followed by several of the recipes featured in their books. This is also a great book if you are on a budget and can't just pick up 20 new cookbooks. Lastly, it is a perfect present because it has something for everyone. I strongly, strongly recommend it!
