We bought this book for my wife, who for the last 14 months has been learning to read music and play the soprano recorder. She loves it. It contains many songs with which she is familiar and she is learning to play all of them.
Good sax book for experienced beginners and intermedaters

As described above, this book is great for experienced beginners and intermedate sax players. It has a lot of famous songs, old and relatively new (late 90's) ones. Most of the notes are not identical to the original music, but they are still making sense and playable. The notes are very clear; its painting is blameless, nice and neat. If you like to play old (not ancient) famous songs, this book is for you.
