Zarleena is a young Indian woman brought up in England. She is separated from her abusive husband Armin and runs a shop "Bindis & Brides" with her sister Honey. Joel is a mountain climber with a big ego, a crazy sister, and a penchant for women of any kind. Zarleena meet on a chance encounter and we follow as events brings the best and worst of their characters as they both struggle with questions of commitment, culture, family, relationships and friendship. It's a funny read, well written, with consistent characters. I found the story a little lengthy about 50 pages from the end, but otherwise I found it great. Recommended.

its a nice light fiction. i loved joels character.. he rocks!! he is obsessed with sex and one night stands.. but overall its a hilarious east meets west kinda book... there are some really humourous dialogues and sentences.........d only negative aspects of this book is that it shows indian men on a very negative side.. i mean not all men can be like armin(zarleenas husband.) ok he was a bastard.. and was treating zarleena like a pros.. but not all indian men r like that!!!!!!!!!! but still i loved d book........!!
