In 1982 the brilliant science fiction movie Blade Runner was released, and a phenomenon was born. Set in the steel-and-microchip jungle of twenty-first century Los Angeles, this masterpiece re-created... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The reviewer who described this book as "geekbook mindcandy" made me laugh. I totally agree. As a shameless fangirl, I enjoyed the Phil Dick novel, the film in all its versions, and this tie-in book. It pulled me into the suspense of the plot. I enjoyed the descriptive passages--Jeter clearly loves this version of the future. I'm disappointed to see that this book and the rest of the series are out of print, but copies are readily available for a reasonable price.
Blade Runner 2: The Edge Of Human.

This book is the sequel to the movie not a sequel to Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?, for being what it is it's a very good continuation, there are a couple of things that bothered me but were background elements, not anything to do with the story itself, I would really like to know what other people think about this book, not many people have reviewed it even though it's selling. I don't suggest you to read the third book, unless you are a hardcore fan.
The True Sequel

This book is simply superb! I loved it from start to finish! The plot carries on from the last book seamlessly and I loved the way Roy Batty was included in the story. K.W.Jeter has captured the grit of the Blade Runner universe perfectly. I recommend this to all who like Blade Runner.

In a smooth fashion, Jeter combines elements of the film "Bladerunner" with some of the concepts of Philip K. Dick. This is the third part of a planned trilogy, and is filled with action and interesting characters. The Deckard/Sarah relationship goes in a direction you might not expect, leading up to an intersting conclusion. Things are left open for the third book and I for one can't wait!
The book kicked serious butt.

The book starts off slow, they all do, but starts to get betterand better as you go along and builds for an explosive, and I do meanexplosive, ending.
