Jack Rhodes is a five-year advanced colon cancer survivor. Less than five percent of identical type cancer patients survive that long. This newfound awareness keeps him optimistic through his ostomy reversal, abdominal reconstruction, and lung and liver surgeries. The book is filled with extraordinary optimism while displaying the deepest feelings of a person navigating the challenges of cancer. It is a beautiful mix of emotion and humor while educating others directing them through the maze of cancer. It is a must read for those who are struggling to battle cancer whether newly diagnosed or an experienced survivor.
