I bought this book and the author's Hendrix book. They are both first rate. If you want to learn blues licks this is a great book. The author has some of the best guitar tone in the industry, and does a great job teaching. I'd say this is easily one of the best out there. hint. load the cd into iTunes so you can easily access different tracks and pieces as you learn. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Is there anything Andy Aledort can't do?

Man, Aledort has once again produced a most excellent book. The song choice is really good and his explanations are clear and informative. Most of the CD tracks are played at normal speed then it is slowed unless the guitar part is relatively simple. The song difficulties are probably around medium. Any intermediate and advanced guitarist should be able to play this stuff. Beginners should also pick this up in order to gain more insight on blues and rock in general. Andy Aledort strikes again with this one. Everyone should also check out Jimi Hendrix Signature Licks vol. 1 which Aledort also did.
