There are many, many things that Bobo loves: taking walks, sharing with friends, tackling the mailman. (Oops, that's hugging the mailman.) But could there be anything more lovable than meeting a NEW... This description may be from another edition of this product.
What kind of dog is Bobo? The very best kind. One that has good intentions of helping and sharing, but inadvertently creates mischief. Bobo's owner, Mrs. Birdhead, invites the new neighbor for tea and of course, Bobo wants to help. His assistance gets him kicked out of the kitchen and put on laundry duty. How does one dog carry in loads of laundry? By wearing it of course. He is mistaken by Mrs. Birdhead as the new neighbor. Just when cat realizes this new neighbor is an imposter, the real neighbor shows up for tea. The story has a delightful ending in which Bobo's true colors shine through. The length of this book is perfect and really nice to read aloud for storytime. The illustrations are works of art and very engaging. I hope to read more Bobo books to my daughter.

The story is cute, but the illustrations are absolutely wonderful - any child would love Bobo. I want to tear out all the pages and frame them.
