Little do they know that El Oso Loco and his sadistic gang of fiends have put the locals through the flames of hell. Now the Trailsman must act as an avenging angel and offer El Oso Loco and his vicious girl, Senorita Diablo, a revelation of bullets and blood. This book moves from one bloody encounter to another with a speed that will take your breath away, each fight and death described in all it's savagery. The bandits are beautifully portrayed, Senorita Diablo in particular being a woman you wouldn't want to meet. The heat, dirt, and the struggle to survive in the harsh landscape, written so well you could almost be there. But one wouldn't expect anything less from Jon Sharpe, and for those who enjoy the tougher, more brutal, type of westerns, then this book is for you. Highly recommended.
