Book Overview

The Moms' Group that saved Heidi Elliott's sanity has gone on hiatus, as have any ideas about dropping the weight (in all the wrong places) and keeping the curves (in all the right ones). In their place, the Friday Strut-n-Stroll provides, if nothing else, two miles of adult company and the outside chance to use polysyllabic words. As much as she has loved being home for Nora's first steps, words, and forays into makeup artistry, Heidi misses working, not to mention money for pedicures. And her husband, Jake, seems increasingly worried about their dwindling bank balance. So when the beautiful Kylie Zimmerman, with a wave of her multi-carat-laden fingers, dangles the chance to become part of a "life-enhancing, woman-affirming business opportunity," Heidi takes the bait. After all, what does she have to lose? This description may be from another edition of this product.

Love Kim Stuart

All of Kim Stuart's books are funny and engaging, including this one. However, I would read "Balancing Act" first in order to get to know the characters and also because I found the plot to be a little more satisfying. Actually, of all of her FANTASTIC books, this is probably my least favorite. Try another one first, and you'll definitely be hooked.

Heidi Elliot, the sequel

Kimberly Stewart delivers again with the second installment in her Heidi Elliot series. Bottom line continues where she left off in Balancing Act. Heidi Elliot's character continues to feel like your best friend and Kimberly Stewart's style of writing makes one feel as if they are Heidi's best friend throughout the novel. I sat down and read this book in a day, much to my two year old's chagrin!! Highly recommend all Kimberly's...

delightful continuation of the saga

Having for the most part been a stay at home mom since her beloved Nora was born, Heidi Elliott knows that her diaper friends from the Mom's Group saved her insanity even when they compared wipe up duty (see BALANCING ACT, not reviewed by me). Life is good as far as Heidi is concerned as her precocious Nora turns four. Heidi and Jake still love one another believing they were fortunate to have found their soulmate. However,...
