Normally this isn't the kind of book I read as I'm more into fantasy, but I really enjoyed this. I loved the characters who were very realistic. The reason I took off a star is because as I said up above, I like books to be a bit longer. I'd definitelly recomend this book to anyone who is looking for a good read.
Excellent Book!

This isn't the kind of book that I normally read; I usually lean more towards fantasy, (CS Lewis, JRR Tolkein), but this was very well written. The book is set in Yukon, Canada, and is the story of a young girl who dreams of mushing dogs. The imagry is beautiful, and the storyline is clear and captivating. If you're looking for something to read to your children, any age, this is definitely worth looking at. The reason for the four stars (as upposed to five) is that it IS a children's book, and not something I would normally read.
