This was my first read by this author and it was such a great read! Suspenseful and full of mystery. I have been in somewhat of a reading slump til i pulled this book out. It grabbed me from the first page. It had some slow parts but overall very good. This was a great story that kept me engaged. Two missing girls are found beaten in a park and the story takes off from there with many plot twists.!! So many secrets and full of surprises. What is really going on in this town? Full of twists and turns. This is a very well written thriller. The action never quits. Excellent plot and great character development. I couldn’t put it down. I never knew what was going to happen next. What is the truth? What really happened to Summer? Is she alive or dead? Did her mother take a secret to the grave? As I read I kept thinking that something didn’t seem quite right about the friendly neighbor. This book is well worth the read and I look forward to reading more from David Bell in the future.
