As sublimation loses to softening in the fight over social claims, individual volition is willed to a power of powerlessness that silently accepts reprocessed heirlooms saturated in superficiality.Through the forward progression of years in reverse, rebellion and radicalism marked the times defined by history's nonintellectual memory because those terms were easily discounted in the subsequent anti-movements that stepped back from the perceptions of dangerous. The beat stepped back and was lost in the limits of its own misunderstanding, suddenly self-convinced it was about irresponsible freedom. But the beat was about recognizing anti-freedom and taking responsibility for it.This poem was written on the beat's old road with the windows rolled down.
