Days away from playing in a major PGA tournament, lawyer turned golf pro Kieran Lenahan's country club pro shop is burnt down, and his famed caddie is murdered. It only goes down hill from there... As Publisher's weekly says, "Even non-golfers will delight in Lenahan's love of the game and the fairway world." What reviewers say about Conor Daly and his Kieran Lenahan Mysteries: "A FAST-PACED MYSTERY" -THE NEW YORK TIMES "DALY SCORES A BIRDIE" -PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY Conor Daly is the pen name of a practicing attorney.
Good golf-themed mystery, especially if you like a lot of plot. Has an intricate story with many different characters. Long on complex series of events, sometimes short on motivation. Second in the series.

out of the three conor daly books, this one is my favorite. the book is fun, the atmosphere is true to life, the characters are skillfully drawn, in fact, i can tell you who they were based on. but seriously, a golf course is a great jumping off for a mystery. i also didn't cringe when i got to the immigration aspect of the book. it helps when your sister knows the agency inside and out. read it. i promise you that you won't be disappointed.
