This book is a nice reminiscience of what good persons everywhere will not miss following the exit of Bush and Cheney. Oh wait, that is wishful thinking. The White House pair have left us with good 'n' plenty to fret about continuing long after they are gone. Their war-of-choice in Iraq, Bush himself has declared will last through coming presidencies - plural. And if Cheney gets his way, they will soon expand that war next to Iran. No, there will be no freeing ourselves of the curse of these bugaboos anytime soon. These neo-con Republican strategists conned their own voters (remember "no nation building," the campaign slogan Bush used against the Clinton administration?) These Republican, fundamentalist, apocolyptic, end-of-the-worlders just can't wait for their one-way tickets to Sheol. And to take as many of us with them as they can, to paraphrase Richard Prior.
