This was my first class with C# and this text really helped me to understand the basics. It was easy to read and comprehend the ideas presented.

I obtained this book via a programming class I am taking. It is easy to follow and very informative. This is based upon the little bit of programming experiece I have done over the past few years and reading multiple programming books that I own. It is worth the read. If the price is too much you can ask your local library to purchase a copy.

I used this book for a class I took and it is exceptional. Outstanding organization and quite deep in explanations. I found the examples and exercises to be especially useful.
Great Textbook for Intro C# Class

This is a good book for C# class. Apparently the publisher includes Powerpoint slides for the teacher to use, make sure you ask your teacher for them, as it really helps in understanding Object Oriented Programming as well as C#. Make sure you get the free Visual Studio from Microsoft that the book suggests in Chapter one because they use it for examples, and even teach a little of it while teaching C# (debugging, intellisense, etc).
