Santos is a Chicano actor and high school drama teacher in the late 1960s-1980s. He is, like the bulls he used to fight as a young man, penned in by the circumstances of his life. Relegated to bit parts as drug dealers and gardeners, teaching spoiled middle-class teens in suburban Pasadena, he can't get the fire burning inside him under control. Or let it go out.

The Book of John is the story of the last days on Death Row before a confessed and convicted killer is executed. But nothing here is what it seems.

The Wilde Boy. London 1915. Oscar Wilde has been dead fifteen years. His old love Bosie, Lord Alfred Douglas, is now an embittered, failed man. A young man pays him a visit before shipping off to the war in France. And he blames Douglas for his father's death. "This is a great play." William Luce, The Belle of Amherst.

Happy Meals. Nana's lost her marbles. Mom's obsessed with hoarding Happy Meal Toys. Her daughter, an ex-stoner/ biker chick, is totally brain damaged. Grampa's disappeared. The only sane one is 14-year-old Flip. "The Collection" has jammed the house and the family has to sleep in La-Z-Boys on the porch. This play finds the funny side of a boomer nightmare. "Can you have too much of a happy thing?"

C.S. Whitcomb is a prolific playwright and screenwriter. She has created roles for Jason Robards, Ellen Burstyn, Gena Rowlands, Martin Sheen, Anjelica Huston and many others.
