I recently rediscovered this book because I wanted to change up my exercise routine up a bit. I've owned this book for about 12 years and I remembered how effective it was in such a short period of time. I guarantee you will see results. This time around I have more discipline in sticking to a exercise regime, so I decided to give it a go. I like that the book is divided into 3 phases and within those phases the exercises are divided by sections of the body. There are pictures to help you follow and detailed instruction on how to perform the exercise, and amount of repetitions on a particular day. I've have been using it for about a week and I already feel a difference. I could only imagine what the results will be after 30 days...I can't wait.

Determined to lose weight, I bought this book when I was 21, and I gave the program 30 days. I noticed results within 2-3 weeks and by the end of the summer, I had dropped 25 lbs and two waist sizes. It's a great program that's easy to commit to and easy to work into your hectic schedule. The book is well illustrated and easy to follow. I've misplaced my book over the years and now I'm buying it again to get back on the program. I strongly recommend it. It gave me the confidence to begin an exercise program and stick to it.

I love this book. It starts you out with simple exercises and when your finished with the program you can easily move on to the tapes. I recommend this book for women of all ages. I'm 50.You will see results in as little as two weeks. It reduces stress by stretching all those large muscle groups. And the toning is beyond belief. Buy it and enjoy.
Eases you into the full workout

This book is great for getting you started. Callanetics is a great program, but the one-hour program is a bit much for one starting out. I used this book to design a shorter program to be done daily--easier than blocking out one hour twice a week. The book starts with modified versions of the exercises, using common furniture, and by the end of the month you should be able to keep up with a regular class.

Callanetics is the best exercise program I've ever used. It works so quickly -- in a matter of hours as opposed to weeks or months as with conventional programs. The stress on the body is minimal and gets even less as your muscles become stronger.
