Very good mystery with supernatural elements.

If you enjoy reading suspense stories that are set in the bayous of the deep south and are keenly written, then this one is one you should read. The main setting is an eerie antebellum plantation house that has been setting empty for several months after the recent death of the previous owner. The down on her luck granddaughter of the previous owner ends up receiving the centuries old estate as her inheritance, but with all the issues structurally, financially and emotionally, along with threats to both her person and sanity, it becomes unclear whether this is going to be a blessing to the granddaughter or what will ultimately become the end of her. Good read. I would definitely read another book by this same author.
