This is one of the best collections of scary stories I have ever owned. There are some of the Urban Legend type stories most everyone has heard of as well as some originals. Some of my personal favorites are "The Helpful Stranger", A Summer Companion" and "The Caretaker" But almost all of the others are really good too. I definitley recommend this book if you love scary stories

Many of the stories in Jo-Ann Christensen's ghost story collection are stories I don't believe that I have never heard of in my life. There are typical urban legends, such as The Hitchhiker, the tale of a ghostly girl who haunts the area of her death, or The Hook, the legendary tale of a murderous patient who escapes from a mental hospital. But, along with urban legends, there are very original stories, such as The Best House On The Block, a terrifying tale of what competition can lead to. Campfire Ghost Stories is a really great collection of stories. There are some pretty scary ones, yet there are some very cool and fun ones that will be truly great to read at a sleepover, or a campout. So, grab a bunch of friends, get around a fireplace or campfire, whip out Jo-Ann Christensen's "Campfire Ghost Stories" and have a hell of a good time with this great collection.
