We've all been touched either directly or indirectly by this disease called cancer. This book is a quick read (probably high school level), with a nice layout, and is an authoritative source on cancer because it was written by the folks at the American Cancer Society. The bottom line of the book is to not get all flustered over one new cancer study sensationalized by the media because all these studies can quickly become overwhelming and confusing. Instead, look for consistency in studies, often it takes several carefully planned studies to "prove" a point. Instead, the best thing we can do to fight cancer is to eat our 2 and a half cups or more of fruits and vegetables, get our exercise, not smoke, and keep our weight down. This alone should prevent roughly 2/3 of all cancer cases in the future. -First year medical student
