"Canyon Song", a passionate and moving tale set in the 1884 Arizona Territory, tells of Anna Bennett, a woman skilled in the Mexican healing art of curandismo. When a badly injured man is left at her doorstep, she is stunned to recognize him as Quinn Ryan, the man she had betrayed years ago. Now, as Anna nurses his wounds, she's unable to fight the desire she still feels for him.
Canyon Song grabs the reader from the first pages and doesn't let go. There are so many wonderful plotlines working at once, I had a hard time putting the book down. Wonderful, heartfelt romance between the main characters amidst a backdrop of fast-moving Western action. I loved it!

I have not read that many historical romances set in Western times but this one has a full bodied plot that I found to be very interesting and easy to read, with tender moments meant to move a reader. After so much pain for the hero and the heroine....they definitely deserved the happy ending. A solid read!
Highly recommended!

Totally moving! This well-written story had me crying, smiling, and filled with terror at various times. I felt Anna's pain and terror and was sitting on the edge of my seat as Ned Hamby and his gang got closer to Anna's cabin intent on abusing her and killing her. I rejoiced as she overcame her fears and her singing was once again restored to her. I enjoyed this story and recommend it highly.Reviewed by: Maureen Boylan
Gwyneth Atlee weaves yet another spell....

Within the majestic walls of an Arizona canyon, Gwyneth Atlee weaves an enticing spell of romance and suspense. In a voice that is as distinctive and precisely drawn as each of her characters, Ms. Atlee constructs a plot that draws from many levels of conflict and exposes the often complex and painful issues of the heart. Rendered in a fine and often lyrical writing style, this story keeps tension rising until the final page.
